Robert Beaudry; Robert started paddling with the local kayak clubs in Quebec at the age of 11, joining the Provincial whitewater kayak team 3 years later and then moving to Vancouver to train with the National Team in the early ’80. Upon moving out West, Jasper was always his home grounds working as a raft guide and ski coach. Robert had the opportunity to compete internationally with the Canadian National Team for a number of years with journeys to Europe and many locations across North America, competing at slalom events and taking in new challenging whitewater descents. Robert became a certified kayak instructor and active member with the Whitewater Kayaking Association of BC in the early ’90 while helping with starting up of the Adventure Guide Program at the local University in Kamloops, while establishing his river rafting company on the Clearwater River.
Lindsay Herring; Lindsay found rafting after high school and water has been an eternal love in her life. Since childhood Lindsay has competed in figure skating, trampoline and tumbling, track and field, cross country running, volleyball, and basketball. She LOVES basketball! Basically Lindsay has been a high level athlete since she could walk. Around 8 years ago Lindsay learned to roll a kayak and has had a very linear progression since. She has been introducing anyone interested to the wonderful world of kayaking for about 4 years now. Lindsay is a very patient instructor who is able to adjust her style to her students. As a primary school teacher during the school year, Lindsay has trained to work with all learning styles making her a valuable asset to our instruction team.
Mike Dally; Mike started in the adventure industry with an outdoor recreation diploma when he was 18. He was introduced to kayaking the first year of the diploma program and his progression was at the pace of a prodigy. Mike has been on a bicycle since he could walk and other than his wife is the main love in his life. Mike has competed in downhill mountain biking with his biggest accomplishment being a 3rd place finish in the amateur men’s under 29 at the Crankworx Rotorua downhill event. Mike skis and snowboards in the winter when he can’t get out on the water or riding the dirt. Currently Mike is completing his commercial pilot license. He still makes some time to come out and paddle with us when ever he can. When instructing kayaking, Mike has a very Kiwi way about things but it seems to work well for his students. We are always excited for our guests when Mike comes out!
