From the power of the river to the abundance of wildlife you will feel closer to nature than ever before. On our expeditions you will get a once in a lifetime experience with excitement from the rapids, relaxing away from the digital world, awe inspiring views, and tons of learning experiences with fun and laughter.
What to expect from our Rafting Expeditions
On our British Columbia rafting trips we use the best 16 or 18 foot-long oar-rigged rafts. Each raft includes a world class Riverside Adventures guide and up to 4 paddlers. Our trips are planned around providing maximum wildlife viewing closer than you thought possible and incredible scenery of the amazing areas we are exploring.
Our expeditions are fantastic for all types of people. Weather you are seeking a wilderness experience, and adrenaline rush, an escape from your day to day, or all of the above, our trips will leave you feeling fulfilled and wanting to do it again.
During the “travel days” everyone will work as a team to get safely down the river. Oar rafts allow everyone to be as involved with the navigating as they want. The guide can do most of the steering from the back at the oars, but needs your help to propel the raft in the river. Most days will have a combination of amazingly thrilling whitewater rapids as well as leisurely floating down the river while taking in the beauty that will surround us. We will have picnic lunches, be able to explore side hikes from the river, do some fishing, take pictures, swap stories, learn about the local history and first nations, and create lifelong memories.
